The Environmental Transport Association has come up with the 10 best performing, and the 10 worst performing cars in terms of environmental credentials. Check them out online.
The ETA also has a very handy Car Buyer’s Guide where you can find out the environmental rating of all new cars before you make the decision to buy one.
The top 10 best cars:
- Honda New Insight
- Toyota iQ
- Toyota Yaris
- Nissan Pixo
- Suzuki Alto
- Honda Civic Hybrid
- Ford New Fiesta
- Toyota Auris
- Mazda Mazda2
- Toyota Prius
And the 10 worst are:
- Dodge SRT10
- Lamborghini Murcielago
- Bentley Motors Brooklands
- Bentley Motors Arnage
- Bentley Motors Azure
- Aston Martin Lagonda V12 Vantage
- Aston Martin Lagonda DB9 08MY
- Lamborghini Gallardo
- Cadillac Escalade
- Bentley Motors Continental
Find out more at www.eta.co.uk.
Seriously, though, would you go for looks or environmental credentials when buying a new car? Is it price that would swing the deal, or keeping up with the Joneses that would motivate your purchase?
