The orgasm coach: how to let yourself go

Dr Lisa Turner works mainly with women to enable them to “experience the excruciating pleasure of a full body orgasm AND then harness the energy they generate”. We asked Lisa why she chose to offer this therapy to other women - and how it works. She has included her seven secrets to a full body orgasm…

What made you decide to become an orgasm coach?

It was actually one of my clients who gave me that nickname so it feels like it chose me rather than the other way round.

I started my own journey of personal and spiritual development about 15 years ago with meditation and Kriya yoga. This involved various energy and consciousness experiments and the results were truly amazing. I was booked to travel to the USA for an initiation, until I got to the part of the preparation which told me that initiates had to abstain from sex, other than for reproduction an initiate was to be celibate. Forever!!

At the time I had just met the man of my dreams (now my husband) and having the best sex I’d ever had before in my life. I remember thinking “£*%$ that!” I cancelled my trip and never studied with them again.

My journey then took me down the route of Shamanism, Western Mystery Tradition, hypnosis, NLP and Huna, finally coming full circle when I studied Tantra, another branch of Kriya yoga which, instead of suppressing sexuality, focussed on transmuting sexual energy into a higher form that not only led to spiritual awakening, but also to greater health, and success as an individual.

I have been combining all of these techniques for about five years now in my teaching and coaching work. It was one of my clients, who WAS a pre-orgasmic woman, who nicknamed me “The Orgasm Coach” and I liked it and it stuck!

What does it involve?

It’s really a journey of personal transformation. Rather than simply dealing with sexual problems in isolation, my approach works on the idea that all problems are a symptom of a much deeper issue. When we find and pull out that issue, not only does the sexual issue disappear, the person is utterly transformed into a truly magnificent version of their true selves.

The coaching itself is a combination of talking, giving “homework” and energy exercises. We look at their diet, emotional issues and even what they want to achieve out of their life.

Once we’ve pinpointed the core issue then I use some powerful emotional and energy clearing techniques to remove this.

The final phase of the coaching is the instruction into the practice that leads to a full body orgasm.

Who comes to you for therapy? Can anyone benefit?

My clients are usually professionals, mostly self employed or business owners who are fascinated by the increase in confidence, power, charisma, creativity and vitality that sexual energy brings when it is harnessed and transmuted.

A few clients come because they have sexual problems, but for most the sexual problems are a symptom of a much deeper core issue.

Can you give us an example of a person/couple you have helped and how?

One of my clients was a radio announcer. She was doing all the right things but never quite got the best projects or deals. We’d removed her blocks and core issues, but I knew that her energy was still off. It turned out that she was pre-orgasmic (had never achieved orgasm) and it was this that kept all her energy blocked up. Sometimes she found herself flirting or behaving inappropriately, which is a common result of stuck sexual energy. It seeks release that never comes.

With coaching and homework she learnt to release into orgasm as well as to harness the energy. Following this she went on to win awards, got offered the projects that she wanted and her career continues to flourish.

The change in her was really noticeable. She moved differently, more fluidly, and even her voice changed to become more enticing and seductive. She became magnetically attractive.

She says she enjoys the sense of feeling empowered by her new found sexual confidence, rather than her old feeling of inadequacy of never achieving orgasm she previously had.

What training did you need to set up as an O coach?

Well it’s really a nice balanced combination of the best of personal development and the best of spiritual development all rolled into a perfect programme.

I am a certified trainer of NLP, NLP coaching, hypnosis, and Time Line Therapy. On the spiritual side I am a Reiki master Certified Spiritual Practitioner a Tantrika (which is where some of the sex part comes in) and initiate of several esoteric “orders” including one whose focus is the sacred feminine.

How do people benefit from being able to orgasm successfully?

The benefits come not only from orgasm itself but also from transmuting the energy of orgasm. When you do this you can harness the energy, which has powerful healing and rejuvenating properties, as well as being able to use it for manifesting.

Other reasons to harness orgasmic include increased energy, making you magnetically attractive, your creativity will increase and with it your ability to solve problems with unique solutions.

Women actually gain energy from orgasm where as men lose it. So women who can’t achieve orgasm are effectively impotent. They can also suffer from inflexible thinking, which shows up as thinking the same thoughts over and over again. They can be depressed, and even have menstrual problems. When sexual energy is released and harnessed these problems disappear.

How does mastering the art of orgasm empower a woman in particular?

Orgasms empower both men and women but there are some particular extra benefits for women.

The energy polarity flips at orgasm - for both men and women, so whereas men suddenly have a head full of feminine energy - which makes them lovely and relaxed and creative, women get a head full of masculine energy so they can suddenly think clearly and become more focussed.

Orgasms will actually drain a man’s energy (which is why they should learn to harness it so they can still orgasm but retain the energy). But women are much luckier, orgasms, (except for the male type genital orgasm) will INCREASE her energy.

This gives her clarity of thought, focus and balances her emotions. As an added bonus it relieves PMT too, which is caused by too much masculine energy in the pelvic area. Orgasm also releases hormone that regulate the menstrual cycle so orgasming regularly will improve any problems with menstruation.

Can you give our members and visitors five quick tips to help them?

Actually here are seven - they are my seven secrets to a full body orgasm:

1. Master your orgasm
Most people use orgasm as light relief to release stress and tension. Rather than waste this wonderful powerful energy, learn to harness it and use it.

The first step is to learn to master your orgasm. Practice self pleasuring to orgasm, it’s best to do this alone first. Be fully aware of all your feelings and pay very close attention to your own orgasmic response. There will be a point - known as the point of no-return, at which you just KNOW you are going to have an orgasm.

Each time you self pleasure pay attention to all those signals that let you know you are at that point.

2. Raise sexual energy
Here are some simple exercises to raise your sexual energy. In addition they will bring your awareness into your body, improve flow of blood to your sexual organs, heighten their sensitivity and boost your ability to orgasm as well as enhance the intensity.

These work on the three main sphincters in the pelvic region. Unlike the generic “pelvic floor” exercises these aim to isolate the individual muscle groups, which is essential for mastering orgasm and increasing sexual energy.

A. The Anal Sphincter
Draw your awareness to your anal sphincter. These are the muscles involved in stopping a bowel movement or breaking wind. Gently contract and relax this sphincter 10 times with the breath. Contract on the in-breath; relax on the out-breath. Feel pressure and pleasure waves building and moving up your spine.

B. The vaginal sphincter (for women)
Now move your attention to the vagina. If you need to insert your fingers so that you can be sure you are contracting these, this is fine. Gently contract and relax this sphincter 10 times with the breath. Contract on the in-breath, relax on the out breath. Feel the pressure and pleasure waves build in a ball of energy behind the pubic bone.

C. The urethral sphincter
Now move your attention to the urethral sphincter. These are the muscles that stop you passing urine. Gently contract and relax these muscles 10 times with the breath. Contract on the in-breath, relax on the out breath. When you contract these muscles you will feel a “lift” and it should also stimulate the clitoris and penis.

Feel the energy increasing as the pleasure and pressure builds in waves. Feel it collecting in a ball of energy behind the pubic bone and move it up the spine.

With practice it is possible to achieve orgasm by contracting these muscles and building this energy alone with no other stimulation.

3. Increase the Intensity of Your Orgasm
Once you have clearly identified your point of no return (see above) you can add the two previous tips to increase the intensity of your orgasm.

First raise sexual energy by contracting the muscles as above for about five minutes, or two to three minutes on each muscle group.

Next practice self pleasuring until the moment BEFORE the point of no return. When you get to that point… STOP. HANDS OFF. Stop stimulating, contract all of the muscle groups and at the same time take three very deep breaths. As you do so feel, imagine, visualise and move the energy and pleasure waves up your spine in pulses.

You will notice the arousal in your genitals has reduced so that you no longer feel that you are on the point of orgasm. Good. Now repeat this delaying technique for up to seven times (taking three breaths each time). When you do eventually surrender to orgasm it will be the most intense and pleasurable orgasm you have ever had.

Don’t worry if you “miss” and accidentally have an orgasm before seven times. Just practice regularly until you do. Even delaying a couple of times will increase the intensity of your orgasms.

This delaying technique is perfect for solving premature ejaculation. Simply do this every time you feel yourself approach orgasm and eventually you will find you can last for hours.

4. Spiritual Connection
During orgasm you surrender the ego. The ego is the lower self that mistakenly thinks that we are our physical bodies, possessions and achievements etc. The lower self or ego disappears at orgasm. It’s called “surrendering the ego” and the result is you become the Greater or Higher Self. This is part of what makes the experience of orgasm so blissful. However if your lower self forms the major or only part of your identity, then surrendering it will seem terrifying. It is even known as “The little death”.

When the only thing you think is “you” goes, you will think you are nothing. Fear of disappearing or becoming nothing will inhibit and shorten your orgasm.

By developing a strong connection with your Higher or Greater Self, orgasm not only becomes possible and easy, it actually makes the orgasms you have MUCH more intense, and blissful. They become the true spiritual experience that they are intended to be. It also means you will be able to connect with your partner at a soul level when making love.

If you have no sense of your spiritual connection, don’t believe in it or can’t access it easily then a full body orgasm will forever be out of your reach. A full body orgasm is the experience of feeling bliss in the body. It is really a spiritual experience (not a religious one).

5. Release any Trauma - Get Happy
Emotions from past trauma will stop you achieving a full body orgasm. In fact they will inhibit your sexuality, block your sexual energy and lower your orgasmic response overall.

Perhaps you have experienced sadness, loneliness or simply felt tearful during or after sex. This is because the sexual energy has “activated” this problem. The emotions were always there but were unconscious. Sexual energy is very potent and it will bring into your awareness any underlying problems. This is why the more advanced techniques are only taught as part of a full programme like Ecstatic Living.

Many past clients who were anorgasmic found that releasing their emotions allowed them to achieve orgasm.

6. Get Healthy
Sexuality and orgasm is a physical process. If you are physically unhealthy, overweight, unfit or toxic due to a poor diet your ability to move sexual energy and achieve a full body orgasm will be lowered.

The healthier your physical body is the more energy it is able to handle. As sexual energy is so potent it’s essential that your physical body can handle it.

7. Full Body Orgasm
Achieving a full body orgasm involves using what is known as a “transmutation technique” that moves the orgasmic and sexual energy up your body. The technique I’m going to share with you here is really simple and safe for anyone to use. It will move small but significant levels of energy up your body.

There are much more powerful techniques that move more energy and greatly increase the intensity of your full body orgasm. The technique I’m going to share here is a perfect preparation for the more advanced transmutation techniques and is the one I give my clients to prepare for the more intense transmutation processes. It’s a sort of training wheels of transmutation.

Assuming you have mastered all of the above, it’s time to learn how transmute the sexual energy of your orgasm. Start by raising energy with the muscle contractions and breaths. Stimulate and delay several times (seven is good).

Then add this next step at the point of orgasm. When you are ready to surrender to orgasm, contract the muscles (all of the pelvic muscle groups), move the energy right up your spine into your head as you are orgasming. As you feel the waves of your orgasm build keep moving them up your body by taking a deep in-breath. On the in-breath place the tip of your tongue to the roof of your mouth. At the top of your in-breath with the orgasmic energy right at the top of your head. Breath out slowly, relax the tongue, relax the pelvic muscles, and move the energy down the front of your body, back into your genitals, where the energy will start to build again. All the while keep stimulating. Repeat as long as your orgasm lasts.

You will notice that as the orgasmic waves move up the back that the arousal moves away from the genitals and up the entire body. Eventually you will be able to continue to rotate the energy up your back and down your front for longer and longer. Past clients have claimed to increase the length and intensity of their orgasm from 5 minutes and even 20 minutes. When you consider that the average orgasm is about 60 - 90 SECONDS. That’s a big increase.

Can you briefly explain what Phenomenal Life is and how it can help people?

Phenomenal Life is pretty much as the title suggests. It is living a life that is… well Phenomenal.

According to the Oxford English dictionary Phenomenal means:
a) A fact or situation that is observed to exist or happen. Especially one whose cause is in question.

b) A remarkable person or thing.

So living a phenomenal life is about living an existence that is remarkable, or even magnificent. A life that allows the truth that is you to shine out, but effortlessly and in a way that is real and human. When you live and become who you are really meant to be you become invincible and unstoppable. It’s when you try to be something you’re not that you become weak.

On this programme I teach people how to become their true authentic self, release the bits of them that are painful and therefore not authentic. And the part most people are interested in - how to have a full body orgasm AND use that energy to manifest your desires.

How much does O coaching cost the average client?

It depends on the programme or course, but anywhere from £247 for a group or an online programme, to £3,500 for a one-to-one programme.
